My Two Thoughts.

The Grammys are just about the trainwreckiest fashion spectacle in the world, bested only by maybe the VMAs? The CMAs? The Soap Opera Awards? I only have two thoughts worth sharing tonight:

1) Pink, stop hanging yourself from the ceiling.

I've seen you do this a lot. It's lost its impact, even if you were soaking wet this time. As a friend of my new roommate said, "People didn't come to the Grammy's all dressed up for you to drip on them."

2) Gaga! I can see your lips. And I'm not talking about the ones on your face! Holy cow.

Give me just, like, a quarter inch more fabric on each side and I won't be utterly distracted by your Lady parts. Plus, I'm concerned. Your minty green getup looks like it's cutting off circulation. You need circulation there. It's really important, especially for you as I believe that your magical powers emanate from your hooha.

Thanks. That's all.

PS: I moved today and am deliriously overtired. I blame this post on that. Don't judge me.

Grammy Whammy

A few observations from the Iwanttowearit. deck:

1) You know how people are always trying to get their clothing onto celebrities? You know, companies send swag and then unabashedly post pics of celebs in their gear? Do you think anyone claims responsibility for Bai Ling's wears? I mean is this a feather in the cap of that giant bow dressmaker?

I kind of picture them shielding their faces and hiding from paprazzi. Although, they did make that dress to begin with. That is one crazy present I don't want to unwrap. For hours and hours and hours of entertainment check out Bai's blog. Yep.

2) I love how Paula Abdul just shows up at events and stands there like she's normal.

3) The ghost of Gwen Stefani's future:

I kid because I love. Cyndi Lauper is my Fairy Godmother.

4) Cutest couple at the prom:

5) Kiss her! Kiss her! You'll like it.

6) Apparently this dress cost Schwing Carrere $30 on eBay.

Should have been $15. And I had no idea eBay had an exotic-dancer-does-black-tie boutique. I have a wedding at the Bunny Ranch coming up soon. Good to know.

7) I want to curse JLo for ever wearing that Versace Grammys non-dress and making deep cleavage and crotch-cutting slits red carpet requirements for this event. JLo, curse you!

Wait, is that JLo? No, no. Tantastic Lisa Rinna at it again.

8) They look like tools. I love them, but they look like tools.
Adam Ant called. He wants his wardrobe back.

9) My favorite look of the night.

10) Yet again, MIA is the shiz.

And one for good luck) Adele you make me proud to have a little sumptin' sumptin' on my hips.

I love you and your incredible voice.

Done and done.

Swagga Like Her

MIA and her swagga at the Grammy Awards.

MIA is the type of girl girls need. I want to frame photos of her and put them up in school auditoriums across the nation. I want to nominate her for Secretary of Womanhood Done Right and appoint her to a Global Office of Girl Power. She's a singular sensation full of great beats and lyrics that slip substance in through the side door of catchy, clever, dancey songs. And she rocks a pregnant belly better than any mama-to-be I've seen in a long time. No one on the corner's got swagga like her: smart, gorgeous, feminine, tough, and totally unafraid to wear whatever the heck she feels like. I salute her. MIA 2016. Here's more evidence for my case:

I'm so happy that she is procreating.
