Color Field

How beautiful are these women who work in the cotton fields of Tajikistan?

The irony is that these color soaked patterns are similar to so many stalking down the runways this season. These ladies do back breaking day labor so that designers can send fabric facsimiles of their garments to the sales floor to fetch more profit than they will earn in a lifetime. Beauty always has an underbelly. I can only hope that they find some joy in the colors they wear. See the whole article from The New York Times here.
