The Suite Life
Even amid increasing economic uncertainty, a well heeled sector of the population still needs a hell of a lot of glamor in their closets, and Toni Maticevski's gowns could provide them with a lifetime supply. The Australian designer unveiled his collection in the lobby of the beautiful Hotel Roger Williams, where the models bravely descended a flight of metal stairs. I say forget the comfortable robes; clear the closets and stock my suite with gorgeous gowns. If I had my way, I'd slip on one of those sheer lace numbers, sip a few glasses of minibar champagne, and never check out. A girl can live on glamor and room service alone. Well, this one would at least like to try.
