Beautiful former model turned fashion photographer and DKNY creative director,
Lynn Kohlman, has died after her long struggle with cancer. But she did not go without a fight. After beating breast cancer with a double mastectomy, Lynn embraced her new beauty and cultivated a warrior aesthetic that matched her fierce determination to live every day with passion.
When she was later diagnosed with brain cancer, she proudly rocked the metal staples that stitched her skull following a surgery, thinking of them as the perfect embodiment of her tough look. She
inspired so many fighters to fight harder, and challenged normal notions of beauty. She will be missed as fervently as she lived.
