I have to say, I used to view Marc Jacobs as an attic miner, combing grandmothers' closets everywhere for the newest redux, but his collections the last few seasons have really pushed things forward and been more intelligent remix than rehash. He seems to embody ideas in clothing better than most designers working today, and yet his collections aren't too heady to sell. They look fresh and carry a sense of momentum and are totally wantable.
Love the pattern play, striped shoes, and denim jacket.
